My art work is so simple at best . I used color with Crayola crayons in coloring books. As time passed and my vision got worse i colored more and more outside of the lines I was supposed to stay inside . Your artwork looks interesting & quite good. Of what I see there is much artistic vision in your artists view in its fallible human view, yet a very great touch of unconditional love and understanding.

I wish you well in your work , and wish you well living your adventures five minutes to one day at a time .

Close to you I spent a bit of time in the land of Paul Bunyan and between Longville and Hackensack [ the home of Paul Bunyan's girlfriend ] fishing for bluegill ,bass, crappie, rock bass , walleye and northern pike. The last time there I spent with 35mm, 4x6, 6x6 cameras , and reel to reel tape recorders as well as harvesting wild rice .

Strangely enough , I feel the call of the loons , ducks, eagles, geese in your paintings. Probably my own imagination.

My family gone , I gave up working in intensive care units, nurseries, and emergency rooms. I now moved to bigger ponds : Bering Sea, Arctic Sea , and Pacific Ocean . If you run out of subject matter ... come out and up northwest .

You can use all or parts of it depending on what works best and I'll send you the postcards too:"Marilyn Jacobson’s “Fiddler” captures the spirit of the fiddler and traditional Old Time American music perfectly. It’s exactly the image we were looking for to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Old Time Fiddlers’ Convention and Festival in Goleta, California. The festival is a world-class event presenting the finest in acoustic music and one of the premier Old Time music contests on the West Coast. Since the “Fiddler” it’s a real pleasure to see that Marilyn has painted several musicians in a style that brings to mind the vibrancy of Matisse and Jacob Lawrence. She truly brings the music and the people she paints to life in all their creative abundance."Andy Doerr, Director40th Annual Old Time Fiddlers' Convention and Festivalwww.fiddlersconvention...
Andy is typing ...

Re: Affirmations

Andy DoerrHi Marilyn,Sorry it took so long for me to get this done.
